Martin Luethi, PhD

Chief Technology Officer

Martin serves as Chief Technology Officer for Strata Decision Technology.  He has over 15 years of commercial software development experience across the healthcare industry.  He inspires innovative strategy while driving agile software development environment for our team.

Prior to joining Strata, he was Chief Information Officer for Rise Health (acquired by Best Doctors), a medical services and healthcare analytics company, leading several technology groups.  At Optum, a technology and services company owned by UnitedHealth Group, Martin oversaw software development of an EMR product line. Prior to Optum, Martin held several roles at Picis, a global provider of information solutions for high-acuity care areas, including positions in Architecture, Development, and Quality Assurance.

Martin is a frequent speaker at international technology and quality conferences. His interests include software development methodologies, information systems architectures, and cloud computing. Martin received his PhD from the Institute of Information Systems and Department of Information Engineering as well as an MS in Information Systems/Business Management from the University of Bern, Switzerland.
