Certification Assessments

Starting June 1, 2019, certification classes and assessments will be offered fully separately.

This will have several benefits, including:

  • Administrators can immediately attempt certification without attending a class. (This replaces the prior test-out option and expands coverage to include all existing certifications.)
  • All certification candidates will have the same certification requirements – the project and test. (Previously, the test-out option only required a lengthy test.
  • Administrators can choose the time period that works best for them to complete the assessments, even if this is not in close proximity to when they attend a class.
  • Administrators interested only in learning more in a classroom setting do not need to feel obligated to complete the full certification.

Each assessment registration costs $100; the fee is collected at time of registration.

Registration includes the following:

  • Access to a training database for up to 2 months to complete the project
  • Up to 3 attempts (each) to earn a passing score for the project and test

Certification Assessment registration is currently closed due to Training Day.  If you wish to sign up for an assessment please come back after October 28th, 2019.

Why It’s Important

Among the 200+ health systems using the StrataJazz® application, the happiest and most effective organizations have several common characteristics. First and foremost is having a highly engaged finance team, including senior leadership, who regularly engage with the Strata Decision team. These clients feel that they have a trusted partner to ensure they have efficient and high-value financial planning processes. Coming in at a close second is a strong system administrator, who has a good understanding of the system and its vast functionality. A strong administrator can prevent problems, perform much of the annual system-readiness work, be a resource for end users and ensure that the organization receives maximum value from their StrataJazz® investment. We want all StrataJazz® users to have a World Class experience, and having strong administrative users is an important step.

How will this help my organization?

  1. Provide practical skills, processes and tools for optimal ability to administer the system
  2. Offer real-life training examples that are applicable to a system administrator’s day-to-day tasks
  3. Provide a small classroom training environment with experienced Strata Decision staff members
  4. A comprehensive training manual will be provided as part of the course, which can be used as an invaluable resource for reference year-to-year to prepare for new financial processing cycles and changing system setup needs
